reception invitation Wording Examples

Reception invitations tend to be issued for several reasons. In some cases, the couple is being married in a small, private ceremony, but are having a larger reception at some point in the future. In other instances, the marriage will be taking place in a distant location, and the reception is a celebration for people who may not have been able to attend the wedding.

Whatever the motivation, reception invitations are worded very similarly to wedding invitations. Many of the wording examples given in the Suggestions for Weddings section could easily be changed into reception wordings with a few minor adjustments.
