A unity sand pouring ceremony is a modern alternative to the traditional unity candle ceremony. In this ceremony, the bride and groom (and sometimes the clergy and/or children of the couple) hold small containers filled with colored sand and take turns pouring the sand into a larger container, creating beautiful layers of colorful sand to represent the blending of their individual lives into one. This larger container then becomes a lasting keepsake of the special day.

This beautiful unity sand ceremony set includes one large cylinder featuring the verse "This day I married my friend" in white lettering and three smaller cylinders. The large keepsake cylinder is 9" tall and 3" in diameter; each smaller cylinder is 7½" tall and 1¾" in diameter. Additional smaller cylinders are sold individually for sand pouring ceremonies with more participants.

The picture shows a personalized large "This day..." unity sand ceremony cylinder filled with white, purple, and emerald green sand. Sand is sold separately in 1 pound bags and is available in 16 colors.

The price of this item includes the engraving of a single name on each of the three smaller sand pouring cylinders and your first names and event date on the large center cylinder in lettering style S2L (alphabet shown below).
